Flight School - Arm Balancing & Advanced Asana Workshop Please arrive a few minutes early to set up and bring your yoga mat and some water, we will be starting exactly on time Join Aline for an in depth opportunity to really break down the muscle mechanics and techniques to needed teach your body how to balance on your hands! We will explore many different ways to enter and prepare for Crow pose, Side Crow, and 8 Angle Pose to start. You do NOT have to be able to arm balance to join, BUT... you do need to have at least 6 months of yoga practice under your belt (collectively or all time). There is a maturity gained from time on the mat needed to stay focused and supported. This class will be taught workshop style similar to how we do posture clinics for teacher training. Plenty of room for questions, curiosity and time to try out all the different variations. There is no guarantee that you'll be able to do every pose, but that's not the point of the class. The point is to give you the tools and skills possible to develop the muscle strength, tenacity and engagement and focus to find your way into the pose in a way that fits your anatomy. We will be learning through fun and in community! Common sense yoga kindness: if you are sick in any capacity or have been knowingly exposed or experiencing Covid 19 please stay home. Cancellation policy: 24 hours advanced written notice = full refund or studio credit - yogi's choice. Day of no call/no show/late-last minute cancellation = studio credit only, no refunds.
